| Eduardo was a barber by trade. He had come from his home in Mexico to live with his aunt, Gertrudis Robles and her husband Harvey Buttner. He lived their less than 2 years when he contracted typhoid and died. It is most likely that Harvey paid for his funeral and burial. | RIVERA ROBLES, Eduardo (I_736231376)

| Emilia is the half sister of my aunt Angela and my uncle Ernie because her father Rafael is their father and their mother is my grandmother Carlota Robles. They did not go by GRANADO, but rather, used ROBLES as their last name. At the time they were born Rafael was separated from his wife Jesus Gonzales. Emilia then ends up marrying a Robles from the Bernabe line: Manuel ROBLES Facio. | GRANADO, Emilia (I352560551373)

| He died from Covid 19 | GARCIA, Clemente Sr. (I352087200431)
| He was born a Raglan. Samuel Raglan and Magdalena Serna are his parents. Harvey, his brother Morris and their sister Piedad became the wards of Adolph Buttner and their aunt Dolores Serna (sister to Magdalena). Mr. Raglan dropped out of their family picture along with their mother. There is no research that proves they were adopted by Adolph and Dolores. It's more likely the children began to use the Buttner name and that's the way it has been for well over 100 years. | BUTTNER, Harvey Serna (I_736232320)
| He was cremated by the Neptune Society. My dad was not one to want any sort of memorial or church service when he died. Just cremate him and spread his ashes in the ocean that he loved so much. He was a Navy man and for him having his ashes spread into the ocean was ideal. I watched as his ashes were poured off the boats edge into the water. His ashes kind of swirled in a vortex kind of action. They circled around and faded from view the deeper they went until finally I could see him no longer. It was a very cold, and dreary morning and there was mist all about. I was not crazy about his decision to throw his ashes into the sea, but I knew that's what he really wanted to happen to his mortal remains. So it was done. | VALERIO, Lucio (I_736230899)
| Her ashes combined with her husband's John and their cat Chloe were laid to rest in one plot in Globe Cemetery in October 2021. She is buried very close to her sister Lydia, her mother Carlota, brothers Ernie and Benny. | ROBLES, Gregoria Candida (I_736231447)
| Her baptismal record from Holy Angels Catholic Church, Globe. Arizona has a note that she and Mariano were married on January 11, 1950 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Solomon, Arizona. | Family: Mariano Flores VILLARREAL / Matilda Tillie SALAZAR (F889)
| Her death entry refers toher as Angelina buried at Sagrario Metropolitano, Guadalajara,Jalisco,Mexico | GONZALEZ Robles, Maria de los Angeles 'Angelina' (I352462333470)
| Her last name has also been translated as AMAVISCA | AMADISO, Rafaela (I_736231544)
| Her mother Carlota, my grandmother, had the weirdest thing about her children's names. For example, she named my Aunt Angie, Gregoria Candida. It's on her Arizona birth certificate. And yet, she did not call her by that name. My mother, Lydia, being the oldest, doesn't even remember when they didn't call her Angela. Aunt Angie doesn't recall ever being called anything but Angela or Angie or Angelita. Family myth has it that my grandmother considered her, 'a little angel', hence Angelita. My Aunt was born in 1930 in a VERY small {in it' heyday population was 4,000}, mostly Mexican mining town of Globe, Arizona. People didn't ask many questions back then. She was known as Angela and Angela it was. My Aunt was quite pleased that she was not known by her birth name. She didn't care for it. She once asked me, "Can you imagine me being called Aunt Candy?" Her name was never legally changed to Angela. She used it in school, church, for work as an actress, when she married 3 different times, divorced.....she was Angela Robles. | ROBLES, Gregoria Candida (I_736231447)
| Her nickname was Tutie. | ALVAREZ, Maria Rachel (I_736232424)
| His birth was registered in Ures, Sonora, Mexico on 14 Mar 1915. | MUNOZ ROBLES, Gilberto (I_736231700)
| His date of birth is taken from Mexico's 1930 Census so we can't be sure of his year of birth. | MUNOZ LABORIN, Jose Angel (I_736231708)
| His father is Manuel Laborin Robles (Francisco line). He and his mother Amalia Robles (Plutarco line) are 1st cousins. Their fathers Francisco & Plutarco are brothers. The family story goes that when Manuel found out his father was Manuel Robles, he was less than pleased and decided to use his step-father's last name, Aldana. And he did use the last name Aldana until the day he died. | ROBLES ALDANA, Manuel (I_736231256)
| It was not long before he was known as Charles or Charlie. His birth certificate says Carlos. So legally he was a Carlos. but like so many Hispanic people who get out into the mainstream of life, their names becomes Anglicized. | ROBLES, Carlos (I_736231404)

| Kelly was instantly killed on the evening of June 18, 2024 in an accident with a car in Colorado Springs, Colorado She and two others were riding motorcycles. The car, who had the green light, was traveling East/West. It would appear the first motorcycle, believed to have ridden by Kelly, ran the red light and and t-boned the car. She was only 23. She had just completed her nursing degree and was preparing to start working in the ER of a local hospital. She had bought the motorcycle 3 weeks before the fatal accident. | REHM, Kelly Michelle (I_736231517)

| Life is strange. There is no way for us to know if his daughter Emelia was aware of her father's affair with Carlota. Globe is a very small mining town so there were rumors, for sure. My mother remembers Emelia, born in 1916. MY mother was born in 1919 so she was 3 years behind her in school. My mother says she never told my aunt and uncle the connection between Emelia and Rafael's sons to them. Emelia was 12 years older than Angie & Ernie. So she was grown and had left Globe by the time they entered grade school. Emelia moved to Los Angeles. So did her brother Manuel. Emelia met Manuel Facio ROBLES somewhere between Arizona & California and married him. Manuel Facio Robles is a distant cousin of Carlota's. They were probably unbeknown to each other. But, did Emelia ever ask Manuel about his ROBLES family? Maybe. He would have denied knowing a Carlota Robles because they did not cross paths. But, today, their DNA connects them irrefutably. So in the end Emelia shared the last name of the woman who was a party to dissolving her parent's marriage. | GRANADO de la Pena, Rafael (I352092342577)

| My father did not have a middle name. That's practically unheard of in the Hispanic culture. I asked him why he didn't have a middle name. He said he had no idea and never asked his parents about it. It just was not important to him. | VALERIO, Lucio (I_736230899)

| On the 1920 Census Rafael was a married miner with 3 children who owned a home in Ruiz Canyon, Globe. On the 1930 Census he was single; not a widow. So presumably he was divorced. He listed his occupation as a timberman in the asbestos mine industry. He was also engaged creating a 2nd family with Carlota Robles. | GRANADO de la Pena, Rafael (I352092342577)

| Parish records from Santa Maria Magdalena, Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico noted she was born in San Miguel de Horcasita, Sonora, Mexico in 1876. That's a 4 year difference from her baptism record. | LUNA ROBLES, Eulogia Maclovia (I_736231353)

| Piedad's birth last name is RAGLAN; the daughter of Samuel Raglan; not Adolph Buttner. There is no research that I have located that indicates that Piedad and her brothers Harvey and Morris were legally adopted by Adolph Buttner and Dolores Serna. Their mother was Magdalena Serna, the sister of Dolores Serna who was married to Adolph Buttner. Magdalena found herself with 3 young children as a single mother, Samuel having removed himself from the family picture. So I guess you'd say, the three children became wards of Adolph & Dolores. And, when that occurred, it seems that the children assumed the name BUTTNER. Their descendants have remained Buttners for well over 100 years. | BUTTNER, Piedad (I352546013099)
| Refugio and Dolores married on June 18, 1888 in Cochise, Arizona. Cochise is not a city, it's a County. The marriage date must be a mistake because she was not born until 1899 or 1901; there is a variance on different documents. | ROBLES, Dolores Medrano (I_736231383)
